Overview
Big Straw Magazine is a student-run, Asian-interest arts and literary magazine at Carnegie Mellon University. As an artist, I worked with the feedback of club members and leadership to draw the cover from scratch. The Spring 2022 theme was Renewal—fitting for a world recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Results
Once completed, the Spring 2022 edition of the Big Straw Magazine sold 200+ copies all across campus. We were able to bring the voices of many passionate artists, authors, and creators to the center stage, as well as those of young Asian Americans such as myself.
